Albion Online enters final beta

Albion Online opens its servers to select players today, after wiping them clean for the final round of beta testing. Albion’s 160,000 founders will have a wealth of new features to explore, including a revamped guild vs guild battle system, brand new artifact items, new biomes, as well as a new reputation and crime system. The medieval fantasy world of Albion Online has also been expanded with the addition of the Royal Island and The Outlands.

Albion Online is a cross-platform sandbox MMO developed by Sandbox Interactive which has been offering intermittent play-test periods since December 30th, 2015. Gamers can purchase a founder pack, available in the Albion Online Store, in order to gain access to the closed beta; Epic founders are granted access on August 2nd, while those who have purchased the Veteran pack will be able to join in the testing on August 3rd. Albion Online is available on a variety of platforms, including Mac, PC and Android tablets, and iOS support will be added post-launch, allowing gamers to continue their adventures without being tethered to their computers.
