Needed something mobile for this week's excursion to Alaska, so I picked up Darkest Dungeon Complete Edition on Switch today. I had tried it on iOS previously, but couldn’t make much sense of it. Played through the first couple dungeons this afternoon and while it makes more sense this time, it seems almost unfairly difficult (playing on the easiest level). I get that’s kind of it’s shtick, but not sure how much patience I'm going to have for the the whole “we’re going to make everything randomly go wrong. Good luck.” aesthetic it's shooting for.

Still debating whether or not to pick up Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Switch as well. I've been thoroughly enjoying Monster Hunter World, but am concerned that most of the QOL improvements that make MHW so enjoyable are gone, and I think that might kill it for me. It'd be a no-brainer if it were a little cheaper, but $60 is a tough sell. We'll see...

I'm a sucker for new LEGO games, always hoping they will break free of past limitations, so I'll probably get LEGO DC Super-Villains.

And keeping an eye on World War 3 as it looks a lot like a take on a modern Battlefield, and I don't really care about WWII.

I already pre-ordered LEGO DC Super-Villains. I will get The Jackbox Party Pack 5 because my kid loves these (I still wish they'd develop a launcher that would drop you in and out of the collections).

I can see getting the For Honor DLC someday. I enjoyed that game, but I stopped playing for some reason and never got back to it.

    SoulCalibur VI is also possible.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is something I'll keep my eye on, review-wise, but the last one landed like a deflated ball. If this one gets back to the energy/fun of Street, I'll pick it up.

Nothing. I'm not even sure what is next for me. I guess Red Dead 2, but I have to see more. I never finished the original.

LEGO DC Super-Villains will go on the eventually list. I'm only like ten LEGO games behind at this point.

Return of the Obra Dinn is from the maker of Papers, Please, and it looks really interesting, so I’ll be picking that one up.

Ended up grabbing Disgaea 5 Complete for Switch instead of Monster Hunter. Haven't played a Disgaea game since 2 (?, I think) and have been in the mood for a new SJRPG.

Apparently the Kingdom Come: Deliverance DLC for The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hands Capon also came out this week.
