I love that Tank Mechanic is still ten months away but they actually have a date for it, but since it is D-Day (June 6th) I guess that would be a good day to chose. However, I think I burned out on this genre after two Car Mechanic Simulator games, so I'd have to see that it has something special.

Oh, so then I guess you won't be picking up Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 when it launches next week? :p Looks like it has some neat junkyard aspects that I don't think the earlier ones had?

Even though the aesthetics look like Gang Beasts, Party Panic is a minigame collection more along the lines of Mario Party but with online and a little more open world aspects apparently.

If you were a fan of the vehicles in the later Unreal Tournament games and want a deeper competitive game based all around those, then Crash Force looks like it's up that alley.

Wild West Online seems like an interesting mix of MMO and survival game in a fairly well fleshed out and polished product from this early gameplay video. It will be interesting to see if there is any long-term content in the game, though, since it sounds like they aren't building for much progression.

That gave me a little bit of pause, given the stuff Titov has run into the ground.

Well shit...I didn't know that. Definitely not confident in that at all then.

I just saw this video for Einar pop up and the slow start made me worry it was another survival game, but after looking into things I see that it's going to be a free single player Norse mythology action game made by a big group of students from The Netherlands. Cool.

Since Redeemer is launching this week, here's a bloody trailer for it.

And how about some of the other "Genre Gems", eh?

Here's Aztez with it's own version of stylish action

And some gameplay from Community Inc (not the best trailer, but they don't have a good one):

Some old school platforming with Skeleton Boomerang:

And since Mr Shifty is coming to Xbox this week, he gets one too:

Oh, and another shoutout for the awesome Shadow Tactics since it's also hitting consoles:

Looks like some GamesCom trailers are starting to roll in.

This one is for Fall of Light which looks to be an Action RPG escorting your daughter through dungeon crawls:

And I thought the trailers for these three four [unrelated] games in my feed at the same time was a bit too much coincidence, heh. :smirk:

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption looks like a sweet indie Souls-like:

And then just released this week we have Rapture: World Conquest where you play a vengeful god:

Next is Redeemer which also came out this week to save all of our bloody souls:

And finally we find Enlightenment entering Early Access in a couple days:

Get Even and Wolcen are both on my radar. Get Even has been getting some solid user reviews on Steam, so I plan on grabbing that when it goes on sale. It seems to have a little bit of a condemned vibe, even though I know the gameplay is not too similar.

Did you ever look at the Dynasty Warriors games and think "That's neat, but what if I could play as Ninja Gaiden's Ryu and fight some cute anime slimes"? Well if you did, you're in luck!

Warriors All-Stars seems to have been announced and is coming out in just a few weeks:

Or maybe you wanted to play as a dinosaur, hunting other dinosaurs? Then I guess Saurian is more your speed. And I guess it launched in Early Access just the other day:

I was a Kickstarter backer of Wolcen (when it was still called Umbra) so I have had builds of it for a long time. I know if I start it I probably won't go back to it once it's actually finished so I have just been biding my time by reading patch notes every month or so.

When did these Dynasty Warriors type of games become so popular? I always saw them as a relatively niche title, and suddenly there is an explosion of them across many game franchises- Dragon Quest, Berserk, Zelda , etc. I just don't see the attraction to these games, especially when the fodder enemies just stand around until you run straight into their mob. I always poked fun at my friend (Who absolutely loves Dynasty Warriors) because he would be slaughtering a pocket of enemies and three other groups of 50-100 of them would be standing 20 feet away...doing nothing.

And here's a couple trailers for this weeks releases:

Fictorum is all about casting spells and destroying stuff, apparently:

Party Panic looks like a bit of Mario Party meets the aesthetic of Gang Beasts...could be fun since it has online play and successfully went through Early Access:

Microsoft announced Age of Empires IV over at Gamescom with this trailer (that features no game footage)

And since that one is likely ages away (see what I did there?), they also have another remaster with Age of Empires: Definitive Edition coming exclusively to Windows 10 on October 19.

How about some more Gamescom trailers?

Jurassic World Evolution got announced with this pre-rendered trailer:

And Paradox is publishing Surviving Mars which is thankfully not another survival game:

And then there's LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

And maybe not a Gamescom thing, but Destiny 2 has a launch trailer:

The Sims 4 expands again with a new Cats & Dogs DLC:

Fe has one of the worst names but still looks cool:

And we get a our first teaser for Shenmue III

As well as a prerendered trailer for the announcement of Biomutant, a new open world action RPG from former Avalanche developers (Just Cause, Mad Max):

I'll be following Jurassic World Evolution and Surviving Mars, both look like games I would enjoy.

And speaking of city builders, Cities: Skylines is going to expand once again later this year with the Green Cities DLC expansion:

You like fast cars? Well, at least one guy around here does. Enjoy some trailers:

Project Cars 2 is looking shiny as always in this new Gamescom trailer:

The Crew 2 will be coming out March 16 of next year, and seems more focused on just having fun:

While Need for Speed Payback wants you to know they're trying to take their "stupid story in a racing game" crown back:

World of Speed is back from the dead and available now on Steam Early Access with Saber Interactive taking over development:

WRC 7 is just happy to be playing in the dirt over in the corner:

But Spintires: MudRunner shows them how it's really done (also being developed by Saber Interactive, it seems):
