It's not bad, but the comedian in me hates that they are completely redoing the Force Awakens Brady Bunch bit. Feels like a hack move.

The lack of women in lead roles in the Marvel movies is what I noticed when I watched it. Yes there are many women; Pepper Potts, Gamora, etc. in the movies but we really haven't had a female headliner they have all been supporting cast.

Does Marvel have many female characters in the comics that could really be considered "A-tier"? I know they're trying to make Ms Marvel a thing, but even she seems C-tier at best to a casual fan.

The women have been gaining a lot of momentum in the comics in recent years, but they all seem to be quirkily interesting. Characters like Squirrel Girl, Ms Marvel, Spider Gwen. Fantastic story-telling and very enjoyable for each, but not in the A-List range. Doesn't mean they couldn't each become major hit movies, though.

Closest to A-List would be Black Widow or She-Hulk, maybe. Elektra is up there, but I don't think her Daredevil/Netflix showing had enough impact. I guess Invisible Woman or Black Cat could be in there. Wasp, too. And then there are a bunch of X-Men, but Disney'll have a tough time getting those.

Yeah, I guess Wasp is getting a half-starring role in the Ant-Man sequel, so there's that at least.
